Wellbeing and Sickness

What should I do if my child is unwell?

If your child is unwell please contact Transport and tell them that your child will not be attending school that day. Please also advise Emma in the School Office on 01424 217720 or leave a message on the answerphone giving your child's name, their class and the reason why they are not in school. If your child is away for more than one day please keep both Transport and School informed. Don't forget to let transport know when your child is well enough to attend school again.

Please have a look at the Working Together to Ensure the Health and Wellbeing of All leaflet to find out how long your child should remain off school for various different illnesses. If you have any queries or questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

If your child has any Covid-19 symptoms please do not send them into school.  Please keep them at home and arrange for a PCR test.  If they are unable to tolerate a PCR test, please keep your child at home for 10 days starting from when symptoms started.  Please advise the school as soon as possible.

Thank you.
