We are a school that provides an exciting and challenging learning experience for pupils aged 2½ to 19 who have severe and profound learning difficulties.

We currently have vacancies for 2 full time teachers;  


TEACHER – full-time 

Pupils with complex learning disabilities Key Stages – KS2, KS3 and KS4 Salary range MPS 1-6 SEN1 - £2,539 (as at 1st September 2023) Start – September 2024 


TEACHER – full-time 

Pupils with severe learning disabilities Key Stages - Reception Salary range MPS 1-3 SEN1 - £2,539 (as at 1st September 2023) Start – September 2024 Would suit ECT


Due to a teacher not returning following maternity leave and the opening of an additional class we are seeking to employ two well-organised, creative and committed teachers. 

Glyne Gap School serves 130 learners from 2 to 19 years who have a range of needs including severe learning difficulties, autism and profound/multiple learning difficulties.

The successful candidate will be part of a thriving Special School that was judged outstanding in its last Ofsted inspection (July 2019). Our school is a friendly place where ALL are respected and where children’s learning and wellbeing is the basis of all we do. 

The school is fortunate in having an exceptional staff who have high professional standards and who enjoy very good relationships. Induction, support and opportunities to develop personally and professionally are available.
