Work Placements

Work placements give students the chance to experience different types of work so that, when leaving college, they are empowered to express choices and tell people what it is they are good at and like doing. Placements range from cafes to care homes, museums, schools and shops. Students are initially supported by the Faculty work placement co‐ordinator, but soon become independent workers within the employment, learning new skills and gaining confidence whilst having the chance to be part of a work team.
